How the opportunity score works

The pipeline

  1. Every morning the engine pulls all new SAM.gov notices in M-Tech's NAICS codes (public Get Opportunities API — no CUI).
  2. Notices are kept until their response deadline passes, so the dashboard always shows the full backlog of open, biddable work.
  3. Each notice earns points from the rubric below, clamped to 0–100.
  4. Tiers: A ≥ 70, B ≥ 45, C below that. Hover any score on the dashboard to see its exact factors plus an AI assessment.

Hard filters (score → 0)

Some notices are removed no matter how many points they earn:

Excluded domains — work we never bid:

janitorialconstructionlandscapinggrounds maintenancefood servicepest control

Product/commodity buys — as a services firm, notices with a numeric product PSC (e.g. software licenses, hardware) are dropped; alphabetic service PSCs (D, R, A…) are kept.

No time to respond — anything due within 2 days is hidden, and expired notices are pruned automatically.
